WW1 British Trench Club

A fantastic WW1 British Trench club as would be carried by Trench Raiding parties with all the attributed one would expect to find on an original example.
This piece displays faint turning to the handle with a slight warping to the fruit wood & what appears to be slight splinter damage to its shaft . It is of note that the wrist tapes are of the same material found on British tank masks & very typical of the period.
Many fake representations of this classic Trench item exist today however a timeless example such as this is beyond dispute.
