WW2 British 37/40 Pattern Battledress 1942

A WW2 British battledress with pleated pockets, brass dished buttons & lined collar complete with 1942 dated label.
All of its cuff , front fly & pocket buttons are still present. Clothing label sewn to inside lining reads ' Battledress, Blouses 1940 Pattern Size No.11' Made by Bowman & Rosner Ltd with broad arrow mark & clear 1942 date. The 'O' coded ( 1942) WD inspectors stamp can be faintly seen on the lining with faint remains of an 'Anti Vessicant' treatment stamp also partially visible. In overall good service worn condition with wear to nap of the cloth & an insignia removed example .
