WW1 German Training Stick Grenade

A WW1 German training stick grenade this being a difficult piece to find in anything other than relic condition.
Metal head has its belt hook still intact with wood handle in very good condition having no woodworm & what appears to be a date of '17'. Remains of the bottom screw cap are present this having decayed with age . I have not attempted to remove it from the handle.
