WW2 German Hot Rations/Soup Carrier In Tan Camouflage 1942

A 1942 dated German army hot food / soup carrier in tan camouflage indicative of tropical issue .
These containers would be filled with soup or hot rations such as stew etc then carried to the soldiers for distribution in their positions. The tan camouflage denotes this for tropical issue & is a harder variant to find most produced in a standard field grey. A removeable enamel inner keeps the food warm with the lid screwed down upon a built in wooden seal to keep it hot.
A piece that would make an excellent centre piece of a camouflage display it is minus its carrying straps as is usual.
