WW2 German MG Basket Drums In Rack

A very nice all wartime marked & dated MG double basket drum set contained within its correct metal carrier .
The basket drums were used for assault & general purpose firing & could be carried within the metal carrier ( Gurttrommeltrager 34 ) when not required.
All in typical ordnance grey paint , both basket drums are three letter coded one with 'hqu43' date & the other 'WC44'. Carrier waffenamt marked with code '959' & date '43' .
