British Interwar Manchester Regiment , Brigade Headquarters Foreign Service Pith Helmet

An interwar period foreign service Wolseley helmet of the Manchester Regiment who were in Egypt at this time.
This helmet is in excellent condition & has the felt flash of the regiment to left side. Handwritten to interior dome is the name 'VARLEY' with ' BDE HQ' for 'Brigade Headquarters. A faint oval ink maker stamp can be seen with a barely legible date which appears to be 1928. Most of the leather liner band has been removed however the chinstrap remains intact.
