WW2 Canadian Army 'NW Europe' MkIII Turtle Helmet & Canadian Field Dressing 1943/44
A fantastic 1944 Normandy period & beyond MkIII Turtle helmet as worn by the Canadian army fighting the 12th SS HJ around the Caen area.
Made in Great Britain as was standard for Canadian used MkIII Turtle helmets these were supplied to Canadian forces & worn in the NW Europe theatre of operations from D-Day 1944 onwards. Helmet is finished in factory khaki/green paint with a Canadian two tone camouflage net & Canadian First Field Dressing fitted under the net. Helmet cradle has clear maker & date 'FFL 1944' .
Complete with chinstrap.
