WW1 French Infantry M15 Adrian Helmet - Early Issue

An early 1915 issue French Adrian helmet in light blue paint with first model one piece liner.
This helmet is in the earliest configuration of issue , from 1916 onwards the colour was darkened & the liners of multi piece construction to save letter. To the front is the M15 model of flaming grenade insignia as worn by Infantry troops & also personnel of motorised machine gun units, cyclists , cavalry & the gendarmerie. Leather liner is complete with tightening lace with all of its corrugated metal ventilation strips still present. The headband of the liner is made from dark blue uniform offcuts to utilise material , the dark blue uniform was worn by the chasseurs however this was not applied branch specifically to each liner.
Overall an excellent condition example with no dents to shell & chinstrap totally intact.
