WW1 US M17 Helmet Refurbished In Europe & With Thick Textured Camouflage Finish

A WW1 US M17 helmet that has been refurbished in Europe by the USQC & reissued to American troops in the field.

A complete Prussian (signal horn) bugle with clear date of 1915. This type would have seen field service from the wars start in August of 1914 .
The embossed Prussian eagle plaque is in a good strong high relief and shows signs of the original gilt wash to concave areas. Maker details to bottom lip.  read more

A rare high quality version purchased with unit funds , being die struck and having a nice high relief to the badge design and lettering . To the reverse is the word "DUTY" thus the plate would be hung this face out when the soldier was on camp duties such as guard etc . WW1 French M15 Adrian Infantry Helmet

A totally untouched WW1 French Adrian helmet with flaming grenade badge for infantry to front.
This helmet is most likely a 1915 production having had a darker coat of blue paint handpainted over its first lighter blue colour in accordance with the 1916 order to darken the colour of the paint.
