Featured across four pages of the Feldzug 1915 book by collector the late Michael Baldwin this is one of the best examples of the rare lobster tail M15 Jager zu Pferde cavalry helmet that I am yet to encounter. A motorcyclist despatch riders helmet of the Military Police with red on blue MP insignia to front & red band. Offered as found in its factory green paint with the tactical CMP markings painted over the top the liner is detached in several pieces with BMB maker & size & an apparent date of 1943 although this is difficult to correctly discern due to some insect attack to the leather in places.  read more

WW1 German 13th Infantry Regiment Pickelhaube & Cover , Belt Equipment & Dienstglas Grouping

A fabulous grouping of WW1 German items which were all found together in France some years ago with pickelhaube having matching 13th 'Herwarth von Bittenfeld' infantry regiment (1st Westphalian) No. 13 IR ink markings to that of the green numbered cover.
