A 1943 dated British Army service dress cap as worn by troops of the Corps Military Police .
Iconic with its red cover giving them the familiar nick name of the 'Redcaps' this piece has brass CMP cap badge with 'Compton & Webb' maker mark & 1943 date to underside. The N coded inspectors stamp is faintly visible also.
