Interesting helmet with a shrapnel rip to shell & testament to the desperate fighing in the Defence of France in the summer of 1940.

WW2 British Blast Damaged MkII Helmet

It is very difficult to find British Tommy helmets with blast damage so this piece with shrapnel gashes to the top is a timely reminder of the British fighting soldier.
